St. Leo's Church is staffed by the Society of the Catholic Apostolate (SAC), also known as the Pallottines, an international community of priests and brothers and part of the larger organization known as the Union of Catholic Apostolate (UAC). Its founder was St. Vincent Pallotti, born in Rome, Italy, in 1795. One of 10 children, his family was very religious, hence Vincent attended daily Mass growing up. Following his call to God, he was ordained in 1818. He believed that all (laity, clergy, religious) are called to be apostles.
